I’m Qi Ren, a Tokyo-based illustrator, educator, and content creator, exploring urban nostalgia, food culture, and the quiet poetry of everyday life.
My work combines digital illustration with print-based aesthetics, often inspired by risograph and traditional printmaking techniques. I’m drawn to simple shapes, restrained color palettes, and compositions that leave space to breathe.
Through still life and cultural details, I aim to capture moments that feel both familiar and gently distant — like memories preserved in ink.
My work has been recognized by Communication Arts and exhibited internationally. I continue to develop a print-focused practice that bridges illustration and physical editions.
Available for editorial illustration, publishing, and collaborative projects worldwide.

Over the past years, my practice has evolved from digital illustration toward a print-focused approach.I’m particularly interested in urban nostalgia, food culture, and the emotional weight carried by everyday objects. My work bridges illustration and physical editions, exploring texture, restraint, and quiet composition.
